Shipping policy

1. DELIVERY 

1.1 General. Please refer to our Delivery Policy which clearly explains our delivery terms, and both policies (and the terms included in them) are expressly incorporated herein. We may not deliver to all countries, please ensure we deliver to your country before attempting to place an order. Risk of loss and damage of Products passes to you on the date when the Products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.

1.2 Delivery Lead Times:

UK Deliveries: Your order will be processed and shipped within 5 to 10 working days from the date of purchase.

Europe Deliveries:  Your order will be processed and shipped within  7 to 14 working days from the date of purchase.

We aim to have our orders dispatched within 5 to 10 working days in the UK and 7 to 14 working days in Europe, but due to the nature of our business, we put a lot of love and care into every refurbished piece to ensure it meets the highest standards before it reaches you.

Our team is working tirelessly to get your order out as soon as possible without compromising on quality. However, deliveries can take a little longer at times, and we truly appreciate your patience.

Whilst we will make every effort to deliver within the timeframe, we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by any late delivery or failure to deliver within the estimated timescales. Please contact us on 012 9243 1155 or by email to customerservice@theofficecrowd.com as soon as possible if you do not receive your goods within the expected time. We will endeavour to get your goods to you as soon as possible or you may cancel your order. You will be refunded once the goods have been returned to us in line with our Returns Policy or classified as lost by the carrier company.

We will attempt to deliver your order to the delivery address stated on your order form. If Products are returned to us as undeliverable either because of an incorrect address or because of customer failure to contact the courier company or collect the goods from the depot where requested, we will refund the price of the Products less delivery costs incurred by us in sending out the goods plus any additional administrative costs charged to us by the courier company for returning the goods to us.

1.3 Delivery Costs: 

We are committed to bringing our products to every workspace. Our service delivers to the entire UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands and is dedicated to meeting a variety of shipping needs. Delivery costs will be displayed at checkout.

  • Free Delivery for All UK Orders:
    • We are pleased to offer FREE delivery on all orders shipped within the United Kingdom.
  • For All EU Orders:
    • Delivery costs will be displayed at checkout. Please note that duties and import taxes will be collected at checkout.

1.4 We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our supply of the Products is delayed by an event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay, you may contact us to end the Contract and receive a refund for the Products you have paid for but not received. 1.5 If you are not at home when the Product is delivered. If no one is available at your address to take delivery and the Products cannot be posted through your letterbox, we will leave you a note informing you of how to rearrange delivery or collect the Products from a local depot.

1.6 If you do not re-arrange delivery. If, after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery we will contact you for further instructions and may charge you for storage costs and any further delivery costs. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or re-arrange delivery or collection we may end the Contract and apply a 50% re-stocking fee to any refund issued to you.

1.7 When you become responsible for the goods. A Product will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the Product to the address you gave us.

1.8 When you own goods. You own a Product which is goods once we have received payment in full.

1.9 Reasons we may suspend the supply of Products to you. We may have to suspend the supply of a Product to:
(a) deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes;
(b) update the Product to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements;
(c) make changes to the Product as requested by you or notified by us to you

 

2. YOUR RIGHTS TO END THE CONTRACT

2.1 Exercising your right to change your mind (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). For most Products bought online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days of receiving the Product and receive a refund. These rights, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, are explained in more detail at clause 11.2 of these Terms.

2.2 When you don't have the right to change your mind. You do not have a right to change your mind in respect of bespoke or personalised goods, unless faulty. Please note that where you have ordered and received a non-standard, customised, bespoke, made to order, made to measure or special order products (including but not limited to large furniture items, headboards, sofas or chairs in your own choice of fabric and size), nor cut by the meter wallpaper or fabric or goods that have been confirmed to you as non-standard, customised or special order, we cannot extend our 14 day refund policy to such items, unless faulty.

 

3. RETURNS

3.1 Returning Products after ending the Contract. If you end the Contract for any reason after Products have been dispatched to you or you have received them, you must return them to us. You must either return the goods by posting them back to us at the below address or (where our Customer Service Team deem that they are not suitable for posting) allow us to collect them from you within 14 days of receipt. Prior to making your return, please call Customer Services on 012 9243 1155 or email us at customerservice@theofficecrowd.com for a Returns Authorisation Number or to arrange collection.

3.2 Tracking. Please return the goods in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and with the original packaging intact. It is important for your own security that you obtain proof of posting as, under our returns policy we cannot accept responsibility for goods that are lost or damaged in transit back to the warehouse, unless we are bringing them back.

3.3 When we will pay the costs of return. We will pay the costs of return:
(a) if the Products are faulty or misdescribed;
(b) if you are ending the Contract because we have told you of an upcoming change to the Product or these terms, an error in pricing or description, a delay in delivery due to events outside our control or because you have a legal right to do so as a result of something we have done wrong; or
In all other circumstances (including where you are exercising your right to change your mind) you must pay the costs of return.

3.4 What we charge for collection. If you are responsible for the costs of return and we are collecting the Product from you, we will charge you the direct cost to us of collection. Please contact our Customer Services team on 012 9243 1155 who will be happy to advise you of the collection costs.

3.5 How we will refund you. We will refund you the price you paid for the Products including delivery costs, by the method you used for payment. However, we may make deductions from the price, as described below.

3.6 Deductions from refunds if you are exercising your right to change your mind. If you are exercising your right to change your mind, we may reduce your refund of the price to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop. If we refund you the price paid before we are able to inspect the goods and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount. We are unable to refund any delivery charges.

3.7 When your refund will be made. We will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible. If you are exercising your right to change your mind then your refund will be made within 14 days from the day on which we receive the Product back from you.

 

4. OUR RIGHTS TO END THE CONTRACT

4.1 We may end the Contract if you break it. We may end the Contract for a Product at any time by writing to you if:
(a) you do not, within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with information that is necessary for us to provide the Products; or
(b) you do not, within a reasonable time, allow us to deliver the Products to you.

4.2 We may withdraw the Product. We may write to you to let you know that we are going to stop providing the Product. In such circumstances, we will refund any sums you have paid in advance for Products which will not be provided.

 

5. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT

5.2 Summary of your legal rights. We are under a legal duty to supply Products that are in conformity with this contract. See the box below for a summary of your key legal rights in relation to the Product. Nothing in these terms will affect your legal rights.

 

6. SHIPPING INSURANCE

While we are not an insurance company, we offer our customers the option to pay a small fee for shipping protection. This fee helps offset the cost of issues such as damaged, lost, or stolen packages, providing you with peace of mind during the shipping process.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. During the expected lifespan of your Product your legal rights entitle you to the following:

  • up to 30 days: if your goods are faulty, then you can get an immediate refund.
  • up to six months: if your goods can't be repaired or replaced, then you're entitled to a full refund, in most cases.
  • up to six years: if your goods do not last a reasonable length of time you may be entitled to some money back.

5.3 Your obligation to return rejected Products. If you wish to exercise your legal rights to reject Products you must either post them back to us or (if they are not suitable for posting) allow us to collect them from you. We will pay the costs of postage or collection for rejected Products.
